Hey Guys, looking for some help on this one. a Sharp MX-M232D with every LED on the display staying on all the time. Every button still works and the machine is still 100% functional. triple checked all buttons to make sure none were stuck. reseated all connections and still no luck. ordered an entire new display panel. replaced display panel and problem solved. Now its a month later and all the LEDs are stuck on again. reseated all connections from LED PWB all the way back to main board. Machine can still be used and middle display still changed when you hit the different mode buttons. Literally just the LEDS staying on. One thing i did notice is when you take it out of copy mode the copy button LED does shut off. any help would be appreciated. I ended up ordering a new LED PWB and noticed the machine has no power filter and is in the same outlet as a papershredder so I will install one when I get back with parts.

I had the exact same symptons on a MXM232D. It was in the field for 2 weeks when this happened. All good after replacing KEY-LED PWB. Makes me wonder if these PWBs have a weak component. -

LEDPWB just replaced and power filter installed.Machine back to normal. We'll see what happens.Comment
