    Fuser ?

    Hello

I have removed fuser units from two printers (both MX-3100N) and they are different.
First picture shows fuser which I always have seen in this machine.
Second picture shows fuser which I have never seen before. There is an additional "second rail" which is moving and touching pressure roller. Is this a different type of fuser for this model? What is this "metal rail" responsible for?

That is the cleaning roller.. Have seen them become quite chattery out in field. It can easily be removed so I would assume another tech popped that off.. T
All 310fu1 come with the roller
