[Jamming] Sharp DX-C200

Good day,

Gentlemen I recently installed a Sharp DX-C200. A week later the user call on mis feeding using ADF. I test the machine the paper will pass the ADF and error will appear "ADF original mis feed open cover remove paper" I try to clean the feed and original set sensors in the ADF but no luck. Check the sensor lever it seems okay because it is freely moving, any suggestion is highly appreciated...Thanks'...

this model doesn't appear on the Sharp website, at least as far as I can see...if it passes the original but then shows a misfeed, the actuator might be hanging up...sometimes you need to push the actuator down very slowly and then slowly remove the downward pressure to see if it returns to the ready position...you may have to do this many times before you decide that it is or is not returning to ready...don't just bounce the actuator with your finger...the spring might be weak or the fulcrums of the actuator may need to be cleaned.

I can't find this model either.
It seems like a sensor problem.
If this machine has an aging mode, I would start there. That way you can quickly eliminate either an electrical or mechanical problem.

Guys thanks for the response. I already check physically the spring of the sensor actuator it is returning normally plus the fact that the machine is only a week old. I think it is not originally Sharp made because i check the simulation it is Stop 107 which is use by Ricoh machines. If it Sharp program it is easy to check in simulation 2 and check the sensor manually.I think i will try to replace the sensors...

put piece of paper in the sensors,one at a time.
the one that does not show a jam replace it.
