    Sharp SIT Chart UKOG-0280FCZ1

    Hello

Can someone please help me... I have a Sharp MX7001N and I was told I need the SIT Chart to help calibrate wavy lines out of my prints and copy's.. It is so very expensive for this cart. Do I need it or is there a way around this or can I get one cheaper? or can some one send me a PDF so I can print it out? Please see my enclosed PDF and please tell me from the prints if this SIT chart would even fix this problem.

    Thank You.
    Glen

That doesn't look like the SIT calibration would take care of this problem; which I'm assuming is the front to rear chatter/bias lines.
Check your dv and drum units for binding or bare aluminum, and the MK kits for contamination.

This again? You already have a thread open.
Did you do the PM or not?
There is a physical issue here, not only an adjustment issue.

How might I check the MK kits for contamination? What is a MK kit?

Pull the drum from the drum unit, and check the grid; MK is the main charge for each drum unit - look for 'green corrosion'.

A chart won't help you with that. What's odd is how consistent it is in placement across CM and how it changes position at YK. That doesn't seem like a mk kit issue. It looks like your problem is in transfer charge primary or secondary .

I agree with Harleyrider and have seen this as well. The secondary transfer is catching in its rotation and will cause this. While you are in there check to make sure the primary transfer drive gear is tight.

i would go with primary transfer to fix the mottling and check fuser for lines but that is just my opinion
