    MX2614 - "cloudy/noisy" halftones

    Hello.

We have two 2614 running and they produce an uneven halftone image in all colours. (See pic attached)
I know that this happened on the Canon C1 models aswell, and there i could adjust the secondary transfer voltage for each paper type to solve that issue.
Unfortunatelly, i can't find such options on the Sharp. Nothing in the SM about that...

    Any ideas?

How many copies are on them. Have you ran the sit chart and do a full calibration?

Just a few hundret prints, basically brandnew machinery, automatic callibration (testprint and scan from printer options menu) performed.

There is a calibration process that has to be followed in the service manual. If not done correctly copies and prints will be bad.
