    [Misc] Mystery Finisher issue

    Good day all,

I have an issue with a Sharp MX-M904 with a finisher. I have been scratching my head and pointing to the network as the cause. Here's what happens, An employee with stand in front of the machine and run copy job after copy job with no issue. Until someone in the network prints from their computer. The moment that happens, the finisher's exit tray drops all the way to the bottom and throws an F1-15. No jams, no nothing. As soon as the machine is powered off and on again, the finisher resets and everything works again. Until someone sends a print job. I'm stumped, I still think it's network or driver related. I'd appreciate any ideas.

    Hi
    make sure they use.
    1-correct driver and latest.
    2-configure the driver
    3-firmware

Also hook your laptop to it and print. Then you can prove if its a network.

Hadn't considered, the configuration part. It is on a domain with a machine set up a print server. They did some updates on the server system a month ago which when the problem started. After two days of unplugging the network cable and running the sharp as a standalone copier it hasn't had any issues. Thanks for the refresh. You helped immensely.
