    need to buy Sharp MX3500/4500 ROM

    Dear all,

    I am looking to buy the boot ROM for the Sharp MX3500/4500. Any specific website I can buy them from or is it possible to deliver it from Sharp directly? any help would be greatly appreciated.

    boot ROM name or number as I found it in the service manual; not sure if it is correct though: MFP PWB program ROM PWB or DIMM memory PWB/PROG 1 ROM PWB/ PROG 2 ROM PWB/MFP cnt PWB.

      There is the boot ROM and the program ROM.
      The chips are different for each model.

      VHI28F642L06F BOOT flash ROM MX-3500
      VHI28F642L08F BOOT flash ROM MX-4500
      VHI28F642L07F Program flash ROM MX-3500
      VHI28F642L09F Program flash ROM MX-4500
      You will have to order through Sharp and all of them are in stock now.

          I really appreciate your reply & quick feedback. Do you know if these ROM work on MXM-283 or does it require different ROM. I have been told that they are the very same ROM so I wanted to make sure. If it isn't, can you please tell me the part number of the MXM-283 ROM.
