Sharp MX753 with mx-fn15 finsher jamming at inlet port

    Hi all,

I hoping theres someone out there who can help!!

I have an fn-fx15 finisher thats jamming at inlet port ( the jam log shows remaining jam). It seems as though the paper coming from the machine is hitting the paper thats in the buffer roller and causing this jam, i have ordered some sensors and some flags as they tend to get nicks in them.

This happens intermittently and i am normally out the door before they call me back!!

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

The jam logs always show FPED_S.. some paper is in the buffer unit when the jam happens and it looks like the next sheet from the machine is hitting the paper in the buffer. So far I have changed the inlet sensor and flag. . Also the sensor and flag at the top of the buffer. ( there is a sesor in the bottom of the buffer that has not been changed but when tested it worked in sensor check.

In the end I used the buffer unit (complete) off the customers older mc (fn14) and had no issues. Luckily they don't use the finisher for stapling on the other mc.
