I have an MX-M654 with a blank display screen and the green LED always blinking. I have a bulletin regarding blank display screen with "all other functions normal" and have checked items in that bulletin that include specific voltages and condition of ribbon cable and connectors. I did not check printing function or fuser operation as I was kind of assuming a screen problem. Tomorrow I will check if fuser is heating up and try to upgrade firmware and reseat connectors and reseat SD card. Anyone seen this and if so any ideas or info. Thanks.

Check your SD card's. We had this happen on a 754 and it was the larger ROM SD card failed so be sure to take both if you have them for troubleshooting.

After hours and days of jumping through Sharp hoops, with great reluctance, they suggested changing the SD and/or the CF cards. Apparently it was a bad SD card. Something else that came up while looking at this machine is Power Over Ethernet (POE). Sharp does not want it enabled for the MFP's. Slight chance that may have caused a problem. Our other store had a problem with a different Sharp model popping SD cards until POE was disabled. Thanks for the reply.Comment
