Sharp MX5141n - Scanning multiple pages from Document Feeder

Hello!

I wonder if this is even possible - I have an 18-page document that needs to be scanned into individual files. I figured it was quicker to do one big scan, then to do each one individually. I have figured out how to get it to scan into 18 individual files, but is there a way to send it into its own individual email as well? I was able to get it to email into one email with all 18 files - but haven't been able to see if it's possible to have each page be emailed individually.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Not sure I am understanding this correctly. You want the 18 pages to scan into email and email 18 separate times for one scan. I would scan to my email, go back to the computer and forward them all to who needs them. The machine can scan all 18 pages into separate personal files. Anything further than that you would need a program that would allow you to do that. On the Xerox side I set up Job Sheets for clients who email and fax the same recipients every month. So they take the pre printed sheet and mark off the boxes as to who it goes to, place that on top of the 18 sheets, hit start and the machine figures out the rest and sends to the recipients all behind the scene, to include email, fax and backup server. All in all it can be done but with a little work from IT and sales rep. Call the local Sharp dealer and ask the question

As far as I know that doesn't exist.
I don't think sending 18 individual e-mail is very useful either, but I guess it depends on what your trying to accomplish.
You're probably better off using a different method, like a network folder or even a usb. Then you could use your favorite software for sending large files out.

Thank you for your help! I know this sounds so strange to want 18 emails - our system generates an account for every email sent to a particular email address. if someone handed me 18 forms to create 18 accounts, I thought it would be easier to scan them at once, and have 18 emails generated (to the same email address) at one time. I could only figure out how to scan them into 18 files - but it was only allowing me to send one email, not 18 separate emails to the same address. I didn't know if it was possible. thank you again!!
