I don't understand why the copies are really good BUT prints from PCs or prints from USB are very faded. Has anyone seen something like this?

I have not seen the symptom, but heard there is a memory chip for copies, and one for printing. I would first clean contacts of memory, and, of course, reseat them."You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" -- -

I've been having the same issue with the 5111n. I wonder if this will help

Re: Sharp MX-C311 copies good prints very faded
If this is a machine that another tech maybe changed some settings on or the user has changed the exposure settings defaults on then I would do a auto calibration in the system settings,
on both the copy and print modes. If this don't help then set the machine back to the factory defaults. I am having to do this more often as this series has been in the field for awhile.
Hope this helps. DanComment
