We have two new Sharp MX3070N throwing error code H4-00. These have just been installed less than 300 copies. The motion sensor feature has been set up and when the customer comes up to the machine after it has been in the sleep mode and presses quick copy and tries to make a copy it throws the error. Sim 14 clears the error but was wondering if there were any other solutions. One copier is 2 hours away and the other 45 minutes. Thanks in advance for your help.

They just released a firmware update Friday to fix many issues with this model. There is also a 2 tech bulletins that tell you how to flash this firmware and precautions to take.And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right! -

Definite firmware issue, they specifically list it as fixed in the latest release

The solution before this last firmware was to turn off the motion sensor energy save. Something you could also try.Comment

We have updated the Firmware and have not had any issues the last two weeks. Hopefully problem solved.
