MX-623 slideout keyboard issue

I have fixed these keyboards on various models with the usb board per the service bullitens. I have this keyboard not working on 623- all leds are on,3 of them i think. I am wondering before I take it order parts and take it apart is there any other settings or reasons for the keyboard not to work?Thanksfor any help

common issue, replace the usb conversion board underneath the keyboard, I have 623 now that had to replace usb conv bd. Sharp has several bulletins . some times I have had to replace the keyboard.
