Sharp MX5000n poor optical quality

Basically have seen in two customers both with MX5000n poor quality when scanning or copying.

Both have had the optics cleaned and CCD calibrated but the issue persists.

Has anyone seen this?

I know this seems really obvious but have you cleaned the lens and the CCD sensor also the glass on the LSU?

Yea, always careful when cleaning the CCD unit. It was actually running pretty well yesterday.
