    [Misc] Sharp MX-M363

I visited one of these machines today and the upper Hot roller is worn out, the lower pressure roller looks worn and the web has ran out. I've been asked to get the parts and replace them all but I'm not a sharp engineer and wanted to ask what these fusers were like to work on?

Not hard, fuser splits in half (upper and lower sections, 2 screws on either end) remove web assay first, two screws and disconnect. Just look the fuser over carefully first and you'll see where the screws are. I like these fusers, they are easy to rebuild and work quite well
When I started servicing copiers they used toaster ovens for fusers.....I'm old

      Very easy to work on.

BUT, New rollers, bearings, web will cost around 200$. A new unit cost 250$ and you don't have to spend the time rebuilding it.

But wait, there's more! You get new sensors, plastics, web frame and everything else. In your case it just makes sense to buy the whole unit.
