Hi,
There has been earlier discussions about these problems in the past years, and I know the quality of the SD cards has been a known issue. But lately this thing has exploded on our hands. Particularly it's the MX2614Ns that are having these problems, and in many cases the E7-07 codes are followed by U2-00 and the likes. Quite often replacing the SD card doesn't do squat (it clears the error for a while, but not permanently). In some ways it seems that the initial problem isn't in the SD cards but somewhere else. Is something breaking them? On one occasion replacing the whole MFP PWB seems to have helped. On another it has not, and the subsequent errors (U2 etc) have sneaked their way into the machine from which the test parts were borrowed.
Has anybody else seen this lately?
