Color band bleed @ bottom issue. Comes and Goes. mx6500

    color bottom.pdf

    MX 6500 Printer with B:200K/C:80K

I manage 2 of these bad boys and wonderful machine they are.

One issue that's puzzled me for a while has been the attached image.
The bleed at the bottom will appear on the first page or two then go away for a while. (In a normal day of 2000 prints, it may happen on 10 total jobs spread throughout, but only on first few pages)
Days will go by with all clean prints.

Cleaning blade on the PTB does it job and my cleanings around all these areas seem to postpone the problem a while until it comes back.

Appears before and after new PTB/Blade & new Drums/blades/MC units.

Any insight on the problem or any areas I can test again?

    I appreciate it all.
    Thanks.

That looks strange as hell. Especially because of the orientation of the bleed of colors is different from the feed.

Okay. What is the orientation of the print? 8.5x11 or 8.5x11R?
Lastly, have you tried a print stop test and see if it's bleeding from the primary or every drum?
