Sharp MX-M260 U9-99 Error Code

Have the code after clearing counts. Checked SIMMS 26-6 - destination - Set to 0 (Japan Default). Check Language 26-22 Set to 1=English. Turn on system, it goes back to U9-99 Error Code. Is this a Firmware Issue or am I missing something. Any Help Appreciated. Thank you.

26-6 try 1-4 and 7 and 9 and see if that works. also flash firmware.

I thought I had tried the 26-6 1-4, but it may have been the language not set correctly - the two need to be correct in order for things to work - in any event it worked the first time by going 26-6, #1. Go figure. The simplest of changes makes things work. Thank you - Greatly Appreciated.
