Sharp MX3610 Makes a long sound

When copier is powered on, when you finish printing, and when it reverts back to copy mode from scan or fax the machine makes a long annoying tone (roughly two seconds). The only place I could find to adjust any sounds was under the fax setting. So, I set them all to none and it still makes the annoying sound. I updated to the latest firmware and that didn't help either. Anybody ever have this problem and find an answer?

It sounds like it could be an issue with one of the fans going bad and makes the noise as it shuts down.

could be polygon motor in LSU, go into sim mode and test the laser 61-1.

Its an alarm noise, there must be a way to turn it off and on. Its not a polygon motor whine.

User error, customer plugged copier into battery backup and anytime the copier voltage fluctuated up or down the backup would make an alarm sound.
My fault for not checking closer. I did have it plugged into wall and she moved some stuff around and plugged it into battery backup.
