[Misc] MX-M363N Varying Registration or Image Shift

have a Sharp MX-M363N w/ 573K that produces 10mm or more of image shift when performing multi-page copying. First few out of the machine register correctly, but by page 4 or 5, the shift occurs, with paper moving in ahead of the image. Shift is not consistant - can be 1-2mm or as much as 10mm or more. Obviously, all feed components have been cleaned. All four paper trays exhibit this tendency. If you slow things down by feeding in landscape mode, problem is very minimal, but still lurking. Couldn't test MP tray - not functioning. Swapped out Drive Unit 2, which includes the Resist Roller motor (PS roller drive) - no change at all. Tried PS roller assembly (resist roller assy) - also no change. And no, cannot simply switch to Letter R mode - they print Bills of Lading on pre-printed forms that must feed in Portrait Mode, based on their software.
Scratching my anatomy on this one. Customer doesn't print multi-page docs, but assume they would be affected as well.

Thanks, TECHWURK. You led me to the solution - I changed out the Paper Feed Drive Unit, that drives Trays 1 & 2 - it was most likely overdriving/not releasing the sheet it presents to the synch rollers.
Probably only the electro-mechanical clutch was at fault, but with 573K in nasty, dirty environment, you would be nuts to nit pick and troubleshoot it down to a single offending component. That is what we crazies in Russia would do, as parts are expensive and so scarce. We do a lot of fabricating in Russia.
By the way, I saw one of those toaster oven machines, an early Sharp, that a Remarketer near me has in their "Copier Museum".
