MX-M365 Power key does not work

The top mounted power key does not work on a refurbished MX-M365. 565 copies on the machine.
The sleep key on the same board works. We have swapped the board with a working board from another machine, and still the power key wont turn the machine off, (the board out of the 365 worked fine in the other machine). We have matched the soft switch settings with another machine and no change. The machine works fine otherwise, just not able to turn the top power key off.
We are running out of ideas, any help would be appreciated.

I would try replacing both the OPE PWB and the Power switch PWB.

An update on the machine, we did not find a solution and Sales sold the machine with a service contract, so we will see it again sooner or later. The machine has the large screen and no OPE PWB, We replaced the power switch PWB and that did not change anything. The power switch PWB we took out worked fine in another machine. The machine works great except for this one issue. We tried matching up soft switch settings with an identical machine and that made no difference either.
