    [Misc] MX-M623N

    Hello everyone!

I have a machine MX-M623N. I need to erase the SMTP Settings and I am unsure how to do this. I have checked through the simulation codes and have tried erasing the hard drive and clearing most of the data ones, but it does not seem to affect the SMTP Settings, specifically the Reply E-mail Address.

    Thank you for the Help.

Reset the NIC through the system settings.

      Sim 67-17 clears SMTP settings.

Is there a reason why you do not go into the web interface and just change or delete the desired settings?

So I tried the NIC reset, but when I print out the Admin list page it still displays the Reply E-mail Address as something I dont want. I will try the 67-17. As for going into the web interface, generally I am working on 3 or 4 copiers trying to erase all the customer information off them. I usually dont hook them up to a computer as it is much easier to get into simulation mode and erase them like that. For Ricoh and Konica and Toshiba, this works well. I just have not figured out how to do it with sharp as we usually do not get many sharp copiers. I might have to start linking up to them if sim code 67 does not work.
