We have a MX-7040 that wont boot up. No display, no home light the led that is beside the display that tells you when its ok to turn on is blinking and there are fans running. I checked the DC Power supply and Sub DC power supply both are giving me correct voltages but the DC PS had to be tested at other end of connectors since sharp hides the board behind other boards but they seem fine. I guess I will start tracing back from display and se hat goes. If any of you have seen this issue any help is appreciated as always.

I had one MX-5111 with MXfr33u not boot because of the corrupt ROM, and I had to replace perform an emergency firmware update.

they have changed the pwb rom. Be sure and order the right pwb or you may need a rom also. See MFP-TB-785. I ran into this.Comment
