Sharp mx 2615n copier freezes up

I have a mx-2615n copier that the customer says freezes up,They use sim 66-10 to unfreeze. The customer says it seems to happen
when a print job and fax job are executed at the same time. I'm not quite sure what would cause this except maybe the sd card. I was wondering
if someone could give me advice. Thanks for your help.

I have seen bad SD cards cause this. The fax memory is located on the SD card and wears out over time. Sharp actually put out a revised card marked CE on the back of the card to supposedly help this but they are still crap. Get a new SD card and you will be good. If it was only printing I'd say replace the mfp board because I have seen plenty of these with bad pcl print memory which happens to be surface mounted to the mfp board. Good luck
