[Error Code] Sharp MX-3114N

Hi all
Ihave the following mesage on a Sharp MX-3114N "an extra Memory module is not insalled" the copier is working for 2.5 Years and now is giving this
You can then press ok and make copys,scan,and fax but not print i have checked 22-10 and system memory is 0. The copier does not have extra memory.

Any one have a idea ?

I would proceed in the following manner....

1. reseat PCL ROM chip
2. flash firmware
3. replace PCL ROM chip VHI29LM5M028C

There is a bulletin on this, you need to replace the PCL Flash ROM
