    Sharp MXB402SC showing F2-64 error

Hey gang... I need some HELP!!!

I have a Sharp 402 black and white A4 mfp that's tossing an F2-64 error code. That error points to the toner drive motor, but the Sharp service manual does not show ANY method of removing that part!!

Either I'm missing something, or it got lost in translation!! Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Frankly, I'm stuck...and that's rare...LOL!

    Thanks in advance, Steve

Have you tried a new toner cartridge. Have had defective ones in past and how does DV unit look and turn.

Pull the toner out cheat the door switch and run a sim 10-1 and see if the toner motor runs. You may have to run 7-1 and turn off DV check first for 10-1 to run.

It may occur if customer stands toner on end. Maybe, beat up the toner a bit and reboot the machine.

It looks like the motor is behind the big board in back of machine obviously behind the toner cartridge. I think you just take stuff apart till you get to it. That would be quicker than trying to step through the book anyhow.
