MX-4501 copy quality issue immediatly after color pm.

Immediately after color pm we started having issues with the cyan and yellow colors. Everything with those colors washed out. After fooling with it for an afternoon I put in just a single color, yellow, that we had sitting around. I stirred that up and checked the copies and still had a problem. I have checked developer voltages, toner motors, cleaned the toner pipes. We have not done another complete dv change yet. Any ideas welcome.

Change the process electrode covers on the rear frame of the machine. There is a mod for this. Also check LSU chutters. Another common issue is the transfer belt clutch slips causing the belt to lose tension. There is a mod for that as well. this can be easily seen by cheating front door and running test sim

The charge rollers in the primary transfer belt unit can cause that sort of problem if they are dirty at the ends where the HV connections are - worth a crack?

I thought i was the only one in the world with machines of this vintage?

Hey, Thanks guys. I think that I remember the electrode covers while scanning some of the bulletins years back. Be cool if I could transfer you guys a cold refreshing beverage of your choice!
