Sharp MX 4110 color not aligned

I went out on a sharp MX 4110 copier the colors are not aligned properly. When I copy a black page the copies come out fine. I went into simulation 50-22 and after executing it comes up with an error : Data_Sub_M_F_2nd 31. I have attached a sample of the color copy qualitymx 4110.pdf. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in adavance

    Four things come to mind.
    1. Primary Transfer Gear stripped.
    2. Striped Drum Shaft Gear.
    3. Stripped Gear-to-Drum shaft gear.
    4. Sticky Drum Drive gear, causing poor contact with Drum Shaft.

    These are easy to check.

For issue #4, some models require you to install a polyslider, and grease the Drum drive Gear.

    Good luck.

Go to sim 50-10 and set A to the default of 100.

Go to sim 50-20 and set all of the color values to 100.

Rerun sim 50-22 and adjust the alignment screws for the LSU as instructed.

+1 to spanky's suggestion, but make sure your registration sensor is clean and that your consumables are in good shape too.
I had the same issue on a 4111, and the sims would fix it for a little bit, but it kept loosing registration after an hour or a day. The issue was failing black DV (even though it looked passable) due to age, rather than page count. Put in DV & a drum unit and it's been good for months (knock on wood). Your DATA_sub_M... error makes me think there might be an issue with magenta (mine was sub_K), and it looks like there might be a magenta charge line on your sample too.

Or you could just get some 3d glasses

I thought about going and getting some 3d glasses to give to to client and call it good. Thanks for the other suggestions

Turn the magenta adjustment screw 10 clicks to the right, run 50-22. If error still there, go back 10 clicks to original position, then go 10 clicks to the left. That error usually means the patch is so far off, the machine cannot read it.

Thanks for all the input. I went out and reset all the values in Sim 50-10 and 50-20 to what was in the manual. Then I performed sim 50-22 again. Copies came out great. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be fixed and I would have to do more. I guess I lucked out on this one... Sometimes it's Better to be Lucky than good !!

heres something else that can cause that randomly......transfer belt position clutch on the main drive. there is a mod part for it.
