    MX-5141 Dead panel

Machine turns on...No op panel. Put the machine in emergency firmware mode. Op panel comes to life. Put dip sw back to normal. Dead op panel. We have replaced some circuit boards, chased some 24v lines.. looking for a short..??.. Can't find why. Has anyone been there done that?. TIA -Steve

I think I have had this issue on a 5111 a while back and it ended up being the SD card. Have you tried swapping it out?

Try to force the op panel calibration using the MFPC dip switches (see photo). The picture makes it look a lot bigger than it is. Is is very tiny and I use my pocket knife to flip the switch. One switch is for password reset, the other for op panel calibration. If you boot up and it shows password reset, it is the other dip switch.

Home key, wifi pwb, and USB pwb (all inside panel) have also caused dead panel in the past....

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
