fuser units compatible?

    [Misc] fuser units compatible?

    are the fuser units from an MX-M5141 and MX-M5110 the same?... can they be switched?

    They have very similar parts codes but if I had to guess, No. You would have to try it.

      i think the thermistors are different u might get a code

        They have different part numbers and will give a Heater code if you put wrong unit in.
        MX-5110 # DUNTW8600DS11
        MX-5141 # DUNTW8600DS31

          For the UK (and possibly other 230v countries) you can order them with MX-510FU (5110 to 5112) & MX-511FU (4141 & 5141). Those are generally cheaper than the 13 digit part numbers.

            I have tested this theory and was able to use MX-5141 Fuser ordered from parts in MX-5110 we had at shop. Yes part numbers are different it came to ready and passed paper.

            And for us in the U.S. the unit from parts is $339 opposed to i think $470 from supplies
