Sharp MX-3111 Can't print

I am working on a sharp MX-3111 and for some reason when I send a print job to the machine it just disappears.

I have been working on sharps for years and have installed drivers thousands of times and have not seen this problem. This is being installed at a new customer so I was not sure about their network so I setup my laptop and a switch to eliminate their network. I have been through all of the settings and can not find anything wrong. I restored the settings and ran to another customer so I could clone the settings. Still nothing.

I can scan to email and print the pages from the web interface. When I send from the driver it does not give an error it just disappears. It does not matter if I print in color or not.

I think I have covered everything.

Hi, a couple of thoughts spring to mind, sorry if I'm being obvious here.

Have you installed the correct driver as in either the PCL6 driver if the machine has an IB print kit fitted or the SAPCL Sharp driver if the machine doesn't have the kit fitted. If this is a machine that you do not know the history then it might be a basic SAPCL machine.

If not the above then try printing to the machine using a Ricoh MPC2500 PCL driver as this driver comes pre installed in windows and I've used it in the past to print to Sharp machines when
I couldn't load the sharp driver.

Not denying your knowledge of sharp machines but the 1st option sounds the problem.
