Correction. Bulletin did not solve issue. Pages are still hitting clear center tray and folding under and back towards machine exit causing them to pile up.

Sorry, I didn't see your original post. The pages are folding or are they curling? Is it on simplex or duplex..or both?

Simplex/Duplex both. Pages come down out of exit, hit the clear tray, and instead of going up the tray and laying down they curl underneath back towards the machine. Its almost as if the angle at which the pages come of out the exit is too steep before it hits the clear tray. Removing the full detect arm does help some but doesn't solve the issue completely.

Have you tried a new package of paper to rule out Humidity?

Have you looked at your fusing assy? You can use SIM 43-1 to try and adjust the curl if its caused by fusing temperature. Unless you've already done that. There's also SIM 43-35 for a nip check!

              Two different brands.

Will be the next thing to try once we get the exit unit back in.

The earth harness was already there. We reset all fuser settings (didn't see any changed) in 43-1 and did nip check (ok). Also changed paper mode in settings to 23-28lb. Seems to be better. Will continue testing.

Have the foam rollers on exit assembly been removed? They should be on if there is not a finisher, remove when installing a finisher.

The top set of rollers had been removed but installing them didn't help.

I had this happen once on a Ricoh machine. The tray was set to thick paper and it went unnoticed.
