With the power off, disconnect the finisher plug from the machine; push on the machine side connector, and see if it is locked in place. If not, the finisher plug seems to connect, but it may not be totally seated.

Thanks. I tried that and on 2 different machines. Checked the fuse on board on the finisher and it checked out good. Thanks

I have had this before and the issue was the actuator and sensor for the upper tray home position.

If you move the sensor so it is triggered just a little better by the actuator this will correct your problem, or the actuator could be broken.

I have seen a broken wire in the interface harness from the copier to the finisher. I suggest to check your continuity for the harness wires.

Like Zootech said, with power off and machine unplugged check the connector at the copier side, remove the back cover to be positive you have a full connection. The frame there is very thin and easily
bent. I had this before with that f1-00 and that was the reason.
When I started servicing copiers they used toaster ovens for fusers.....I'm old
