[Misc] mx-c402sc copier making a clicking noise

I have a mx-c402sc copier that makes a clicking noise when using the top paper tray. I can feel the clicking on the paper drive unit in the

back of the machine. When I use the second paper tray I get no noise. I have never taken the paperfeed drive unit off this model machine. I was

wondering if someone could help me so I would know what to look for as far as the clicking ( almost a banging) noise coming from just the top

paper cassette. Thanks for your help.

The paper lift units are easy to replace, remove the tray remove the screw slide unit out of the way and remove the connecter and lift out. I would replace as a unit and not try to mess with the gears inside.
