MX 2300 Error - Please see system administrator. Error:PC

I am getting this message on boot up. Firmware is upgraded to latest version. Any ideas?

That is a "Personal Counter" error that can be corrected in TC 26-3. If you have an external auditor, it might not be connected. Default (P10) is for the built-in auditor.

I have set it to default, but the error message remains.

Check your connections at the SCN-Cnt pwb, especially CN131. This is the connector that an external auditor would plug into. Maybe a loose connection or a bent pin might be causing the machine to think it has an unplugged auditor.
