MXB420SC transfer blade keeps flipping

I have a customer that has a MXB402SC. First call I got was for a h5-01 error, after inspecting the machine I found that the transfer blade flipped and damaged the belt in the process, so i replaced the entire unit. that was back in April. Then last week I got a call for the same H5-01 error. Same thing again, the transfer blade flipped. this time it did not damage the belt, so i put a new blade on, conditioned the belt and tested it, worked great. now today same thing h5-01 error. I havent been there yet but something tells me its going to be the blade flipped again.

Anyone ever run into this or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

YES!!! these machines are notorious for flips. Suggestions? Two things, make sure your using the new blades with the two new springs. There is a bulletin for it.

Secondly, use the yellow toner powder designed for transfer belts by sharp.
Believe me, that's all there is.

New style blade with new springs, and the most important, the Yellow Toner designed for transfer belts by SHARP.

Don't forget to be generous with the yellow toner. 👌
