I have 2 machines at the same location with the ID card readers installed that plug into the USB port. Is there some setting I can turn off to defeat the card reader so that I can make copies? If I log in as admin all I can do is access system settings, it does not allow me to make test copies. The key op is not always around, and the administration (in California...I am in Nebraska) does not want to seem to give us an access card.

Re: MX-464 with ID card reader
Does it authenticate with Papercut, Kayleigh, or something similar?
If so, you can disable this in Settings > Application Settings > External Application Settings > External Accounting Application Settings > External Account Control, set to Disable.
The copier will reboot, and the card authentication screen should be disabled, if the user authentication screen appears you can login as admin, and use the copier as normal.
To re-enable, set the same settings to Enable, and enable whichever server has the entered details.
