    [Misc] Sharp MX-C311

    Hello and good afternoon,

I have a sharp MX-C311 and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change or just delete the current network settings. Every time I log into Top Page and try to change them they keep on coming back. Is there anyway I can just reset reformat the whole machine?

    Please and Thank You
    Glen

To reset the NIC, disconnect the CAT cable, and run the NIC reset from the admin mode; also, Sim 67-17 will reset NIC to defaults. This will set the NIC to DHCP - you can then set up network settings when in admin mode. I believe any SMTP and DNS settings will also have to be entered.
I hope this helps, Paul T

      Paul,
I do not want to scan to email just want to clean out FTP settings and scan to SMB Shared folder. Do you think this will clean the FTP settings? Can I just factory reset the whole machine?

      Please and Thank You Again.
      Glen

Log into the webpage as admin, there you will be able to clean up the address book of destinations.
This is so much easier than trying from the UI. I'm not sure, but the C311 may not have the factory's reset to defaults.
