MX5141 E7-14 Error

we have a sharp MX-5141 showing and E7-14 error. Rebooting the machine clears the error.
Cause SCU PWB trouble.

Check & Remedy Check the SCU PWB.

Replace the SCU PWB.

The machine is 4 years old, and this is an intermittent problem that has happened a year ago and 6 months ago.
Firmware is up to date. 6 months ago we cleaned all the adf rollers and have not had a recurrence until now. The customer does a lot of scanning and at times run stacks of 60 or more double sided as fast as the machine can run them through.
We wonder if we are overrunning the memory on the machine or maybe on the server side? We are scratching our heads on this one and any help would be appreciated.

If the problem is that infrequent you may want to ask the customer to document what they were doing when the error occurs. It could be something they are doing. It could also be something like a power fluctuation. Good luck.

Have you already replaced the SCU PWB? One thing that SHARP might tell you if you have tried the SCU PWB and the problem didn't go away is to replace the CCD unit or LENS Unit? They are the same thing but sometimes called both depending on which manual your reading. Good luck
