SC 46-74...if the machine scans but won't produce the next page for calibration, I believe you have placed the copy down incorrectly on the platen..the little black orientation line must be all the way to the left...

lots to consider...try firmware...not sure if a sim card is in it...use several sheets to back up the test sheet...or you may have a bad board...

I have now been able to reset the calibration setting to factory default with sc 67/31 so the copy quality is no OK, will post if I find out what's caused this problem.

              Try Sim 50-28 first

First run BK-MAG Adjust and then run SETUP/PRINT Adjust, restart and try again. The issue is the copier sees the chart but, it cannot read it as your out of calibration.

This will almost always solve this specific problem.

As to your colour requirements you can also try changing SIM 63-11 to def 1 from def 2. You must calibrate after you make any adjustments here.

              cheers

you did clean the optics before trying the calibration correct? I have seen techs waste time on trying to calibrate with out cleaning the optics first.

Check to confirm that the image density sensor calibration plate
                      is clean.
