    MX-6240N administrator log in

Does anyone know how to log in as administrator on a sharp mx-6240n? There is one window, I tried admin and it failed. I looked in sim 24 for a password reset and it didn't appear to be there. I also formatted the HDD except for system area sim 62-08.

It's end of lease and I am trying to clear all data from the machine.

Also, where is the serial number label located?

    Thanks

Never mind, I found the serial number label. I am sending it the way it is.

If you go to the MFP PWB and look for a very tiny bank of 2 switches together, you flip switch #1, turn on machine, and it will come up in sim 24. I believe sim 24-30 (I may be wrong? It is the password reset sim). Execute that, put switch 1 back to original position, and you have now reset the admin passwode to "admin"
      The Moose is loose!!
