[Error Code] Freaking generic toner.... F2-66

We replace drums and developer constantly, error f2-66 is very frequent on this mx4141n. The issue is very bad generic toner being added but im not allowed to say anything and im told to just make it work. Uhg. We get a couple calls a month about this particular machine. Error usually clears after pouring some excess toner from the dv unit out. It really is that bad. It just adds and adds and adds magenta toner until the bottle empties or the wtb fills. The obvious solution (oem toner) is 100% not an option. Figured it wouldnt hurt to see if you had encourtered this and if so, How you handled it. Thanks!

When you are changing developer, are you cleaning the sensor before adding new DV?The DV level isn't that far off - is the toner add tube clear, and is the toner seal completely removed when the new shit toner is installed?

We had this problem on a lot of machines.
Changed back to OEM toners, problem solved...

Pull the sensor from the underside of the DV units. Over time, they will get a hardened shell on them and throw off the reading.
