You might try changing the energy setting to fast wakeup. We have had issues with the fax not waking up out of the sleep mode and this has fixed that.

wow... I would ALWAYS assume it was "sleep settings" before replacing ANY hardware items.... also see if it has " wake on ring" or "Wake on incoming job" setting.. make sure they are turned on.

Thanks for the info.It doesn't have a fax on it.When the machine is not used and goes into power save mode.i guess I should have said. When they send a job it drops off the network but not all the time.

These stupid keyboards always break, I recommend you replace them. Here, take a look:

TT-20410: Keyboard are locking up MFP's.
          Solution: Replace Keyboard.

          MFP-TB-295: Keyboards are binding

TT=20180R: Keyboard displays GARBLED letters on LCD
          Solution: Replace Keyboard.

          TT-20164: Keyboard is not responding
          Solution: Replace Keyboard

          MFP-TB-477: Keyboard Recognition Problems

ect... The list goes on and on. I recommend new keyboard, they ALWAYS break.

WOW, you replaced a lot of parts...

Well, if it drops off the network, make sure you're not getting any IP conflicts in the network. What about the cable? Could be a bad cable, or bad Ethernet port, or bad Switch. Don't be quick to blame the machine.

          Good luck.

Try reseating the mother PCU in between the MFP PWB & PCU PWB.

I don't want to talk bad about anyone on Sharp's help line, but I have one that as soon as I hear his name I will hang up and call back. He has led me on some bizarre witch hunts in the past. Plus, never hurts to get a second opinion?!
