We have a MXM904 with MXFN24 Finisher having random error code F1-15.Might work great for for a couple days then have a code for days. Any help or ideas would be great. Close to 4Mil on the machine.

Make sure the exit trays are free to move up and down without any resistance on the finisher. They move on to the sensors and make sure they are working correctly, they are fairly cheap, and with that many pages, it's not a bad idea to just replace them. Lastly, it could be the motor getting weak. It's not as common with these finishers as it was with the inner finisher, but when the lift motor starts to go bad, it will lift just slightly slower than normal, so it doesn't reach the sensors in time, so the machine throws a code. But, as I said, sensors are cheap, and they are known to be intermittent for a long time before they go out completely.

Go into SIM 3-2 and see if FCCD is highlighted. Switch should not be on in normal conditions.
