    Extended Test Commands

    Howdy folks,

Has any body heard if we can get into extended test commands on any of the new product that requires the home button to be double tapped?

We get stupid low humidity here in winter and on my old MXM453's we would get background. I would go into sim 80-2 and tweak the VO voltage to trick the machine into adding less toner.

I have 3 MXM654's that are at 300k - 400k and they have overtoned and ive had to replace the DV. I tried using DV aging, running sky shots and got rid of the background and then recalibrated with 46-74 but the overtoned state came back within a week.

I keep pushing Sharp for extended test commands but they keep claiming they don't know.

Run sky shots, then re-run 25-02 to set the lower ratio as a reference. 46-74 will only adjust the voltages to try and get the print to its factory set value but will not adjust the TD ratio

As far as Sharp USA is concerned they no longer exist. Japan has not released them to anyone.

Ive always been told thats a big no no but at this point i guess we have nothing to really loose and should do the same thing. Will give it a go next time.
