Sharp MX 753 " Tray 1 and add paper

I have a Sharp MX 753 Tray 1 & 2 High Cap Drawers both with paper and Tray 1 is saying " open tray 1 and add paper" the meter is showing no paper in tray 1 when there is paper. Any answers to this problem?

does this message pop up right at boot up.. or does it sound like it's trying to move paper then it pops the message?

if right away check the paper sensor flag in the tray .. either broken or out of place

if delayed .. clean/replace feed rollers.

I second this! And add to simply check to see if there is PAPER ON THE BACK of the tray. It could stop the tray from lifting therefore causing the machine to read that there is no paper.
I would also simply test the sensors. Sim 30-2...

Check if the white plastic flags are broken on your paper guides. The trays must lift up before it can detect paper. On that guide there is also a black plastic flag. That flag sometimes goes under the white paper guide and prevent it from moving. See pic.
