Issue of background area on internal prints and copies. Have tried different drum, drum frame, main charge, transfer unit, replaced dv. Any ideas based on sample attached?

Re: MX-M453N - CQ Issue - Background Area
I'd probably hit the drum with some kynar/zinc stearate. Check it again. Then try the secondary transfer roller section for issues/toner mess. Check the lsu glass for dirt. With most of the monochrome units those in my area at least tend to be troublemakers. Older units I tend to have parts get broken on the process units but the newer ones it tends to be the seals not doing their job. Just my two cents though.Comment

Re: MX-M453N - CQ Issue - Background Area
I usually encountered this problem whenever I extend the life of consumables and reset the maintenance indicator. As you said you replace the DV what is the value of DV calibration? Usually, the value is 100 to 120. did you remove the toner when calibrating? Did you try to jam the machine and check if the drum is covered with toner?Comment

I got overtoning on those models, especially when our company was buying generic toner. You can run copies with the toner cart out and run skyshots til the level comes down to where it looks good then run the 25-02 to lock it in there.Comment
