So thank the Copier Gods Sharp finally released SMBv2 firmware updates for many MFP's and we can finally scan (SMB) to MAC High Sierra, drama free. We've been updating our fleets and clients are happy. IT personnel are happy too because we're not using a potential security risk protocol known as FTP.
But yesterday, to my dismay, I've failed to set up SMB scan to mac, on all the computers in network. I'm getting a network timeout error. I called Sharp, I increased DNS timeout to maximum 60 seconds to no avail. I know the DNS settings are correct because SMTP works great. I've troubleshot the error for almost 2 hours yesterday, and I'm stumped. Any ideas? Anyone seen this before with the new SMBv2 update?
