    Status and Alerts

    We have used the Status portion of this feature to retrieve monthly meter readings.
    Now "Management" wants to use the alerts portion so that we will have all service codes reported correctly.
    Of course when we activated alerts we get multiple emails reporting Maint codes etc.

    Does anyone know how to limit the frequency of the alert e-mails I looked but didn't see a way.

    Yes sim 55-3 data sw28 bit 3 to 1 put your email address in alerts list 1 NOT DEALER

    that will only send one email for toner low or add on all machines from MX2310 on older machines its hit or miss
    firmware needs to been higher than level 4

      Thanks a bunch for the info. Excuse my ignorance but where could I have gone to get this information besides you and the hotline and is there a table that shows functions of the soft switches and their settings.

        I have been trying for years to get a soft switch list from sharp

        sharp uk don't even have the info,
        Well that's what they tell me but every now and again they send out a bulletin with soft switch info on and I just remember
