    Sharp MX4140 Fuser Web Detector

While updating the MX4140 Web I was not paying attention to the Arm on the Web Detector when disassembling. I was wondering besides what I am seeing in the Service Manual if there is a better directive on the Detector Arm placement. I put everything together and was good until I thought I probably didn't seat the arm correctly.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

The actuator arm goes behind the web so that the flag is out side the sensor. when the web runs out the arm comes forward and the flag will be in the sensor.

Thanks - that makes sense now from what was shown in the service manual. Appreciated.
